Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre is one of the most beautiful architectural landmarks in Paris. Located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city, the cathedral was built between 1875 and 1914 and has since become the second-most visited monument in Paris.
The place is a tourist magnet, both for visiting the Sacre Coeur church, but also for the panoramic view of the city skyline that the hill provides.
