I purchased the shaggy angora goat on the wood mount for a gift for my neice. Loved how the wood grain comes through on the print. Excellent purchase! Would definitely purchase again.

This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
The coast around the town of Neskowin is ruggedly beautiful, and late in the afternoon, as fog moves in and out and the sunlight filters through, there’s a lovely combination of light and shadow, where trees become enveloped in mist, and shadows turn especially dark. During this low tide, light reflects off wet sand, shafts of sunlight stand out, and a lone gull flies through the scene.
About Carol Leigh
I'm a photographer, writer, educator based on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in photomontage work, combining photos I've taken of rust, walls, peeling paint, birds, postage stamps, trees, etc. into images that are completely new, different, and often weird. I also create physical collages, then find myself photographing parts of them to include in my photomontages. It's crazy, but it's fun! My career has encompassed writing guidebooks (primarily about where to photograph in California), newsletters (guides for photographers about where to photograph in the United States), leading photo workshops, and conducting online classes. Makes me want to go there:-)
Carol Leigh replied:
You should! You're a coastal/boat-y kind of gal. You would love the Oregon coast. Most beautiful coast I've ever seen, and completely different from your area, which I visited a few years ago. You can't beat living on a coast, no matter which side of the country!

''Magical'' is an understatement . I am inspired. Again.
Carol Leigh replied:
And again, I am happy to hear from you.

Beautiful capture, love the landscape with the light breaking through.
Carol Leigh replied:
Neal, thank you very much. It was a magical scene with the fog and the light. The gull flying through was a bonus!
